AlexisTroisième et dernière œuvre à sortir à peu près en même temps avec au casting un de mes chouchous suédois : The Ugly Stepsister. Vu dimanche soir au CGR La Mézière (35), hélas en version doublée. La réalisatrice norvégienne Emilie Blichfeldt – pour son premier long métrage - a voulu raconter l’histoire de Cendrillon, du point de vue de l’une des belles-sœurs, sans édulcorer la violence présente dans le conte des frères Grimm.Le récit des violences que les femmes s’infligent elles-même ou entre elles (la lutte des prétendantes, la mère faisant courir les pires outrages sur sa fille), afin de quérir le cœur d’un prince (ou à défaut d’un quelconque nobliau) même si c’est un trouduc, car c’est leur seul moyen d’ascension sociale. Très beau costumes, très beau décors, et surtout des scènes graphiques difficilement regardables qui font tout le sel du film.J’ai hélas raté la scène post-générique, qui visiblement n’est pas sans intérêt.Une très bonne distribution, des actrices norvégiennes : Lea Myren, impeccable en Elvira, le rôle titre, petite-fille boulotte et naïve, d’abord violentée contre son gré pour être la plus belle, qui finira par être elle-même prête à tout. Ane Dahl Torp (Occupied, et la série récente de films catastrophes norvégiens) implacable en mère/marâtre ambitieuse et manipulatrice. L’autre belle-sœur est jouée par Flo Fagerli, seule personnage un peu noble et censé dans toute cette folie. Son trop petit rôle est une respiration dans le film.Des acteurs suédois. Isac Calmroth joue un Prince, tantôt idéal dans les fantasmes des jeunes filles, tantôt celui de la réalité, bien moins idéal. J’avais précédemment ironisé sur le fait qu’Edvin Ryding n’était pas disponible, mais malgré son gros pif, il fait le taf en prince de conte de fées. J’avais psychologiquement refusé de voir la série diffusée par Arte où il joue un élève d’internat dans les années 50 en proie à un violent harcèlement scolaire ; amusant de voir que par contre, le musée des horreurs, ça passe.Malte Gårdinger (August le cousin maudit dans Young Royals) en tant que palefrenier et premier amour de Cendrillon sert surtout pour être à poil, ce qui ne gâche rien.Et mon acteur préféré, dans des scènes trop courtes, Adam Lundgren, joue un chirurgien esthétique complètement frappadingue. Bien qu’il joue toujours aussi bien avec ses yeux (bleus, calibre gros, et magnifiques), le voir doublé a été très perturbant. Rien que pour lui j’essayerai à l’occasion de revoir le film en VO. En zappant certaines scènes.Malgré le doublage on a eu de la chance de voir ce film pas si mal distribué en France. AlexisBonne nouvelle... The Ugly Stepsister (adaptation horrifiquo-nordique de Cendrillon) qui sort demain mercredi bénéficie d'une distribution honorable avec presqu'une centaine de salles.
