I bought a $400 item from a vendor on the Ali Express platform. The vendor claimed it was delivered and provided "proof" with a USPS tracking number of a real shipment (with the correct weight) to my zip code with my address and a fake signature (not mine).
USPS's web site only provides tracking information to the zip code. I went to my post office and the postmaster looked up the tracking number and provided me with proof that the shipment went to a different address in my zip code.
After presenting this evidence, Ali Express made the vendor refund my money.
What amazes me is the vendor or the US shipper has a shill to receive a package in my zip code and knew the finding proof of this scam would be difficult.
