Feeling inspired by Douglas Hofstadter and his creative dialogues on self-reference using metaphors about a conniving tortoise that keeps destroying a crab’s phonograph players using audio feedback:

Deze bijna doodle van René #Magritte werd door de eigenaar ooit op Ebay aangekocht voor zo'n $1.580. Het wordt op 21 mei geveild door Rago/Wright's Post War & Contemporary Art auction. Het veilinghuis verwacht het af te slaan op $100.000 tot $150.000.
Mysterieus is de doodle wel. Je zou zeggen dat hier schaakstukken op een door wolken omgeven bergtop staan. Maar anderen zullen het weer anders zien.

Je suis retombé par hasard sur cette peinture de #Magritte : "La reproduction interdite". Ce que j'aime dans cette œuvre datée de 1937, c'est qu'Il y a ici une perfection technique, une mise en scène de l'espace en abîme et une sorte de trahison de l'image qui nous met au défi : le réalisme surréel en quelque sorte.
