Можно сказать даже фактически главный шоу стоппер для желающих играть в линухах. Во что отформатировать хард с играми? <a href="https://shitpost.poridge.club/tags/ext4" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ext4</a> тоже не особо нужен для накопителя, где игры лежат, сгодится и <a href="https://shitpost.poridge.club/tags/XFS" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#XFS</a>. У меня вот почти все игры на <a href="https://shitpost.poridge.club/tags/btrfs" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#btrfs</a> разделе, потому как рядом с /home. Всего порядка шестидесяти опробовано, большая часть под Windows (через <a href="https://shitpost.poridge.club/tags/Wine" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Wine</a> и <a href="https://shitpost.poridge.club/tags/Lutris" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Lutris</a> с <a href="https://shitpost.poridge.club/tags/DXVK" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DXVK</a>). CSM-BIOS war aktiviert, die Festplatte hatte jedoch eine EFI-Partition (und GPT). Die Grub-Installation auf Festplatte wurde verweigert und auf die SSD verlagert. Die BIOS-Boot Reihenfolge ermöglicht, sich zwischen Linux und Windows zu entscheiden, das kann auch durch Windows-Updates nicht gefährdet werden. I'm willing to experiment and learn but not spend hours doing so. I only casually game, and mostly older games. I've managed to get a handful working with <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Lutris" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Lutris</a> without problems but it isn't exactly user friendly for those who don't 'tinker', I couldn't get any to work with <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Bottles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Bottles</a>. I think for most who use Steam, GOG etc it looks easier, but for owned games less so. Until it's point and click easy for a novice, Linux will always be niche.

hyperreal 🅅After some testing of several games on Bazzite, I've decided I'm going to replace Windows with Bazzite on my gaming rig.
