Following @theresmiling's example, I watched the first 2 eps of #StarTrek #LowerDecks last weekend, and even in its short run, that show changed.

They definitely didn't dial in the characters yet, and it didn't really betray the depth that these animations would get in the future.

While I enjoyed them, I can totally see why some would be turned off and calling it "Rick and Morty but Trek skinned" after seeing these.

I have trouble justifying buying the WHOLE series again when I already have Seasons 1-4, but if you don't have #LowerDecks on Bluray, not only is the final season about to release on disc, but there's an entire series steelbook set that's a lot cheaper than getting the individual seasons. There's also a regular non-steelbook release that's $9 cheaper, but if you're THAT close...
