"irregular cargo" - how even did anyone think that was a good idea, and acceptable on the public roads? If the driver has the correct licence to drive the #lorry, then they could just as easily have hired a more suitable vehicle to transport the broken down #van

There's nothing you can do about this, I am just pointing it out. Instead of a tip maybe just don't blame them for the fact that Facebook never removes anything bad, or any obvious scammers. I am sure they want to remove them, but those managers I mentioned won't give them any agency at all to do the right things.

3/3

is not !

Hair raising to watch your floating home move first over a motorway and then through the air by crane, then onto a dolly with a tug, but in the end it was all OK – almost like these folks had done it before. 😉

The hauling company asked us to remove the solar panels, which was the most labour-intensive part of the whole move.

Now that the boat is off the dead-end canal and ready to roam, it feels like freedom is back!

_The Evening Post_, 5 July 1924:
         SENSATIONAL BOLT
(BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
                          AUCKLAND, This Day.
A two-horse team in a #lorry on the #waterfront bolted. The driver was thrown off or jumped clear, and the #horses dashed over the end of a pier. The pole of the lorry breaking off, the vehicle was left behind, and the horses fell on the steamer Kaipataka, and stove in the side of a cabin. One horse was killed. The other went overboard and swam ashore.

Pouet pouet !

Approximately 40% of #truck #drivers have left their posts to join the installation of the East Coast Rail Link (#ECRL) project

This raised concerns over a shortage of drivers in the #KlangValley and its adverse impact on local #construction projects

The key reason for the migration was that working for ECRL gives better pay, had fixed hours and there's less hassle with dealing with enforcement agencies
