Linux Is Best<p><span>I have Triforce, the Fediverse.<br><br>Although I do not expert anything bad to ever happen, I am someone who likes to have redundancy. The whole point of the Fediverse is there is no centralized point, with each Fedi Instance (server) acting both independently, but untied together as a whole. <br><br>That said, the weak point (or bottleneck) is being on an instance (server) and unexpectedly discovering something happen to it. I can think of a dozen things that could cause this, but if life has taught me anything, it is the unexpected that catches most people off guard. <br><br>Sharkey, allows you to perform a complete back-up and recovery of your account on another Fediverse instance. Recently, I tested this when even the original instance I belong with, was offline, and I was still able to restore my posts, and who I follow. I suspect it help that their file server was independent of the main website, but it proved to be a good test run.<br><br>The last thing I would want is to be caught off guard. So I have now three (3) accounts here on the Fediverse. But I also made a fallback, or, plan "2B" account should anything happen ( <a href="https://kitty.social/@Linux_Is_Best" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@Linux_Is_Best@kitty.social</a> ).
