Suddenly, a wind picks up in the courtroom, and the light shines brighter.
Holy Spirit: (its voice resonant and authoritative) "The Kingdom calls #Chemosh, the #detestablegod of #Moab, as witness, to the stand."
Chemosh, the detestable god of Moab, steps forward, his appearance dark and foreboding. His eyes are filled with a mix of malice and defiance.
Michael: (turning to Chemosh) "Chemosh, you are called as a witness. Did #Solomon #KingSolomon act out of love and compassion?"

Scene: The Divine Courtroom
The courtroom is vast and ethereal, filled with a luminous presence that permeates every corner. At the bench sits Jesus, his eyes radiant with divine light, his hands marked with the scars of his sacrifice. The air is thick with anticipation as souls from all walks of life stand before him, awaiting their final judgment.
Michael: (standing up, his voice filled with authority) "All rise! Court is now in session."
#KingSolomon stands behind the defense table, his appearance regal and wise. His eyes are filled with a mix of humility and reflection, as he gazes into the eyes of his judge and presumptive savior, Jesus of Nazareth.
Jesus: (looking up from his prayer, his eyes filled with compassion) "King Solomon, step forward."
It comes from the Book of Ecclesiastes, attributed to King Solomon, and it's a poetic reminder that, despite our technological marvels and modern innovations, the fundamental experiences of humanity remain remarkably constant.
So, as you embark on your Hebrew journey, remember that you're not just learning words; you're unlocking the wisdom of generations past.

Certainly a page turner …
Sabaean Inscription Points to Connections between King Solomon’s Israel and Kingdom of Sheba
In his new paper, Dr. Daniel Vainstub argues that the inscription was engraved in the Ancient South Arabian script and that its language is Sabaean: the inscription reads ‘[]šy ladanum 5;’ the aromatic labdanum (Cistus ladanifer), rendered as lḏn in the inscription, is most probably ‘šǝḥēlet,’ the second component of incense according to Exod 30:34

It's Spring Break! And we can't think of any better way to relax on the beach than with an introduction to the Books of Samuel, with Prof. Joel Baden and Prof. John J. Collins.
King Solomon may just have been misunderstood.
He didn't want to cut the child in half.
Instead he just suggested to Banach-Tarsky it, to help both mothers.
