Ricardo Harvin<p>I just thought of the time a group of us from the <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/DotCom" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>DotCom</span></a> I worked at (<a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/ChamberBiz" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ChamberBiz</span></a>) were walking across Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Treasury" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Treasury</span></a> building and a couple of <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SecretService" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SecretService</span></a> uniform cops drove by us.</p><p>One looked very young and Adam, from Boston, said, "Hey look, it's <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/KinderCop" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>KinderCop</span></a>", and some of us laughed.</p><p>That cop stopped and used the "what'd you say?" intimidation tactic, which worked on Adam.</p><p>I wonder what/if Adam thinks of that, especially in a context of privilege, and <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/BLM" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BLM</span></a>?</p>
