Probably if you'd ask a generic music listener, or someone only acquainted with later SM. For me, this album shows a great, but utterly failed, effort to sound more like <a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/JoyDivision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JoyDivision</span></a> after their naive <a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/glamrock" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>glamrock</span></a> debut. Despite this, I think this is such a great <a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/postpunk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>postpunk</span></a> record with bountiful experimentation. Never gets dull!</p><p><a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> <a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/NowPlaying" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NowPlaying</span></a> <a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/vinyl" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vinyl</span></a> <a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/newwave" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>newwave</span></a></p>
