"I KEEP MY FINGERNAILS LONG SO THEY CLICK WHEN I PLAY THE PIANO" - Joe Ely song
Not me.
Well, first off, I don't play the piano, I play the guitar, so there's that.
Fingernails of a reasonable length may look nice, but to me they mean only one thing: I haven't played my guitar in a long time. (I can't play properly with fingernails that aren't short-short).
Not good.
Off with their heads!
I simply CANNOT imagine this post gaining any traction, not least because many folks will get triggered by the "country music" thing. I get that. I really do.
But for my teenage self, a Canuck growing up in the suburbs of the Home of the Nearly Wed & Nearly Dead, this was (after Hank Williams) the first country music I really loved. Lubbock's finest.

Today on the way home today, my 4-year-old requested that I play #JoeEly w/ #UncleTupelo 's cover of "Are You Sure Hank Done it This Way" THREE TIMES in a row, so I must be doing *something* right raising this kid. https://youtu.be/p5qij0o3SVA
