Bringing that up here because I heard someone has a case against its former employer because of the money talk.

The employer shields itself saying it "brought discourse, uneasiness and hostility to the employees environment". Contract stipulates salary as non-disclosable.

The employee says, it's null and void to censor an employee speech about his salary, or employment conditions, inside the business.

Who would win?

I stand by my former boss Rule 7 for his business:

7. Money talk is prohibited with risk of firing.

Why? He told me (paraphrasing a lot):

"Talking about money can bring the worst from your people. Once someone feels its being mistreated or unfairly paid, it can be demoralising at best, but also destructive or hostile at worst. Sadly, firing him always solves the problem and sets the example for the rest."

We in the CODICUM project are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher. The position will focus on analyzing ZooMS spectrometry data from parchment to investigate patterns and groups within the collection of #medieval #manuscript #fragments in order to explore their origins, manufacturing and relationships within Northern Europe. This is a two-year position in wonderful Copenhagen!

Boosts welcome!
