A.K.A. The Sandwich Saved Me: Very strong episode. The flashback scenes do a great job at establishing how Jessica first met Kilgrave, and her connection to Malcolm. It shows just how evil Kilgrave is, that he emotionally manipulates Jessica into taking photos of #JessicaJones

repercussions that 'the incident' (otherwise known as the Battle of New York) had on everyday civilians, with the couple who try to kill Jessica Jones because of how the wife's mother died in the battle whilst the superpowered heroes were fighting. #JessicaJones

A.K.A. 99 Friends: So far, I'm loving this series. It does an excellent job at showing the impact Kilgrave has on others, by showing the support group Jessica creates to gain information on who's taking pictures of her. It also brilliantly depicts the negative #JessicaJones

A.K.A. Crush Syndrome: Another great episode. It gives us more of a glimpse into Jessica's mental health battles, being plagued by memories of Kilgrave, and her dynamic with Luke Cage is fun. That poor guy who Kilgrave manipulated into giving up his kidneys though. #JessicaJones

AKA Ladies' Night: Not sure why I never got around to watching this as it features one of my favourite actors David Tennant, but AKA Ladies Night is a very strong opener. It sort of feels like Marvel's answer to a film noir, with Jessica Jones' constant narration. #JessicaJones

Can't really call this a surprise, because it makes perfect sense within the plot that Season 1 set up, but happy to get a confirmation because I loved Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. Was already looking forward to Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, but now even more so.
