- Really fun show again. Wasn’t expecting a ton of variation but other cities in between got more change ups. Reminded my friends that like live music but are jam prejudice there is another option…
- Jeff was still my highlight. Dude puts it all out every show. Missed a lot of lyrics again but I can’t hate.
- Crowd got a “Free Palestine” chant going, which I think threw everyone on stage for a second. DC people know what’s up.

The Jeff Rosenstock/PUP show last night was pretty great. Highly recommend catching if he comes through your town. Definitely stay to the end.

Note, it is not a laid back show in any form.

- These are the two relatively punk bands I listen to regularly, so a perfect double bill for me.
- Both bands killed it. Pedal to the floor almost the whole time. Brought anger, love and hope. Both talked about the occupation looming over Chicago and loving our trans brothers and sisters. (1/3)

It's super disheartening, but not surprising to see #JeffRosenstock announce that he has to postpone shows because he caught #covid on tour.

Performers, especially touring performers, have been hit badly by covid because
- Their venues are among the worst for spreading the disease
- They have no collective voice (no union)
- They're forced to deal with one of the worst monopolists of all time
- no one sees them as workers deserving of protection.

So they have to risk long-term disability to make an increasingly meagre living.
