Kinda what onlookers were complaining about: fearing repeating what had happened w/ #Mueller & w/ #HClinton, #DOJ & its #FBI dept initially slowed efforts collecting evidence re 1/6th collusion & conspiracy. Public’s grumbling & #Jan6thCommittee’s televised hearings slammed them into higher gear.

EM’s hypocrisy. Rightwingers throw all kinds of conspiracy epithets at Dems all the time. I try to tweet that the two NE senators extolling their “back the blue” are hypocrites, because they didn’t back the #Jan6thCommittee, etc. And this is what I got. Wasn’t allowed back onto their tweet to do a watered-down, milquetoast reply, either.

"#Trump turned to acting Defense Secretary #ChrisMiller and asked him if he was 'set' for Jan. 6.

'You’re set for the 6th and all that and you got a plan and, you know, protect my people and all that. Right?' #Milley said. 'And I’m silent. I’m just listening and I’m like, hmm.'

This struck Milley as 'odd,' he said, because it was so out of place at the meeting."
