Similar to the current US Administration's assault on Harvard University, Dartmouth College was facing a similar assault (by the State and Governor of New Hampshire) more than 200 years ago.

Dartmouth stood its ground and prevailed at SCOTUS with a ruling that stated Dartmouth College was unconstitutionally changed “into a machine entirely subservient to the will of government.”

Net-net, the Dartmouth ruling clarifies that the government, whether federal or state, cannot constitutionally undertake a campaign that seeks to intimidate an independent university and seize control of its operations and assets. From what I hear, it's hard being Jewish in Australia. Particularly for those who refuse to toe the Zionist line.

The loudest voices tell us that Zionists are a majority in Australia's Jewish communities, but it's impossible to know. Any who aren't Zionists are intimidated into silence.

The image is from the US, four decades ago, but pretty much sums up how many Jewish Australians are feeling these days. Unseen and unheard.
