Comparison on how much #privacy premium costs in *some* #eu (+ch) providers.

Ideally, i would expect that the "good" service has "all" google has with added privacy on top. This means mail, drive and office. #familyoption should become the default.

So far i tried: #tuta, #protonprivacy, #posteo, #koofr, #internxt and #filen. If someone is interested, i can also give a brief overview, just keep in mind i dont use all of them actively.

Turns out the best way to transfer huge amounts of data to internxt is via rsync and the internxt desktop client. This is a proffessional company selling upto 10TB's of storange. No official connection with rclone, official system is via webdav and cyberduck, with 5GB upload limit!!!!!!!!!! Only way to upload a file larger than 20GB is via their website, which is limited to 40GB!!! Almsot feel like I should have stayed with mega.nz.

Follow up to yesterday's comments about #internxt and cloud storage/syncing services. Some context.
Some friends recently introduced me to #obsidian and I've been hooked. Obsidian has its own sync service and e2e encryption. But I'd hoped to find something that wasn't linked to a specific app. I've ended up with the Obsidian service for now. I think it's possible to cheat non-obsidian files into a "vault" by linking vaults to local dirs and using them from the usual file system.

It's probably actually the #internxt Win app that's broken. Last night, finally got files to sync down. Then made changes, but as I look closely at what's in the drive from the browser, the changes didn't get syncd back up. So this morning on the Mac... no joy.

Been tryiing out #internxt cloud storage this week. Like the minimal interface for both the app and in-browser UI. Like also the nod to privacy/security. The app's sync tho is terrible. (I've tried it in both MacOS and Win. Have not attempted mobile apps.) This makes it totally unusable.

Any recommends about who else (other than the usual big names) does cloud storage & file sync well?
