I've taught code + tech to middle school girls but the times I'd bring my #HamRadio in & get all the girls on the air were some of the MOST fun school events I've run.

#AmateurRadio may seem like a throwback hobby but it's as vibrant as ever. Yet there is still a problem with sexism, misogyny, and ham radio often feeling like an old boys club.

We founded Cascadia Radio as a way to work on diversity & inclusivity in the hobby. Join us!
