I watched the first three episodes of "Murder Drones", today, btw.
And while it was a bit chaotic and irritating, I totally loved the vibe.
Gonna watch the rest, tomorrow, I guess ^^
Catching Up (Pilot)
Quay comes home from a crappy day at school. And alllll he wants to do is relax the day away. But both his friend and his mom are forcing him to go to some crappy highschooler club. Where his friend continues to embarrass himself.
This was a good production. HUGE cast for an indie. But great jokes, good animation. They have already Kickstarted ep 2. But also sell merch as well.

Pretty Pretty Please I Don’t Want to be a Magical Girl (PILOT ANIMATIC)
Most of this is an animatic, and a good one. There is a brief moment of full animation, also very good. But in general, this was awesome. And I am not fond of magical girl stuff.
Worth a look.

. I want to see Krysten Schaal and Charles Fleischer preform together in whatever. So much fun stuff, but I am soo tired right now.

Pearl is still smuggling 6. Until her brother finds out about it. And not to far are the air pirates looking to reclaim the the lil' robot.
More great backgrounds and lighting. They really get the feel of a cattle drive. Only, mechanical cattle. Fun action, cool stunts. And a great fight with a robot snake.

I prob should list the Oscar noms for Animation, and will. But first, I came across this Discussing Film best-of list for animation in 2024 that I thought was quite complete. And has some great recommendations. I dont agree fully with all of them, didnt see all of them. But by and large, this is a stellar list.
