Bummed that the #BluRay of #WongKarWai 2046 I borrowed from the library was region coded 3 and wouldn't play. I turned on #Kanopy for consolation, found three of his other films and watched #InTheMoodForLove instead. What a visual and stylistic masterpiece with a screenplay that kept you guessing what was real and what wasn't. Not to mention #WilliamChang's amazing cheongsams for #MaggieCheung 😲, #MichaelGalasso's score infused with nostalgia and spiked with regret, the so so handsome #TonyLeung, the saturated colours, startling camera angles. Reader, you can tell I loved it.
