I'm working on a sequence for my tropical modern high-fantasy reality TV show, Charmed Away.

Trying to do that thing where they cut together several things different people said in the confessional (the private room where contestants talk straight to camera) into one mini narrative.

I was worried it would be too confusing to follow in comic form, but I think it's working!

Zuri: A fucking naiad?! Are you fucking kidding me? Lani's head is gonna...

Bess: I'm a bit less nymph-struck than the others. One of my closest besties is a dryad. Shout out to my girl Amelia. But Leilani? She's on a whole other level. Poor girl's trembling.
Leilani: Still shaking. The thing is, up here you treat nymphs like their celebrities, but in the deep we worship the Oceanids. Literally. Like you and your gods. Only Oceanids are real. Voiceover: Seriously Leilani?! We're going to get hatemail for that.

Another fantasy reality TV show couple headed for somewhere no doubt called "Seduction Bay" or the like.

Really enjoyed giving these two a TOTALLY different vibe to the elves - a douchey rich gnome and his satyr trophy wife.

Body hair's a challenge in Daz, and usually means doing a hairy and a hairless render, then spending some time in an image editor erasing all the hair coming though clothes. But for these two furry cuties, 100% worth it!

Having fun and getting back into making things by playing with this reality TV show concept. But just for shit's and giggles! I'm not turning it into a game, I swear! 😅

I decided to bring it into ICBM to make a little mini-story introducing two of the contestants to our unnamed tropical modern fantasy reality TV show. (Which is apparently a show for couples.)

I had fun with exaggerated toonish features. Might try a couple of some other fantasy race next.

Two elves sit at the rail of a boat in the tropics. Their body language is intimate as they gaze out over the water.
The same two elves are now drinking champagne, but the husband is looking queasy. Sure enough, he pukes over the edge of the boat. His wife cracks up laughing in shock.

#WordWeavers Jan 22: "Does the thought of one day dying scare your characters?"

Their whole life, until about a week ago, Ulrik thought they were going to be "retired" Logan's-Run-style at age 42, and never thought much of it. (Warborn indoctrination is all-pervasive and starts in the vat.)

However, due to recent Warborn rights activism, they've found themself retired in the more traditional sense. And just quietly, that scares the absolute shit out of them.

Two children point and whisper as UIrik and Chief Warden Amon Zola walk past, deep in conversation. Zola: "So apparently it's somehow up to me - the sheriff of Bumfuck, Nowhere - to interpret whether Warborns get 'retired' like honoured career soldiers or like obsolete military ordnance, and the whole galaxy's quietly watching." Ulrik: "Heh. Mind who you're callin' obsolete, old man! For real, though, thanks for givin' it to me straight. And for what it's worth, weren't like I was plannin' on retirement, neither. Thought I'd be recycled into nutrifeed by now."
