In #2016; I ordered the #PrideOrange #WarMachine 4-wks ahead of the #BrexitSham; there was a #MinorDelay of 2-mths on #Delivery because it was #Subject to a #Euro6 #DieselEmissions requirement... #Ford honoured the #Contract...

#However... Within weeks of the #BrexitReferendum; #Ford had #Slapped a GB£4,000 #Surcharge on any #NewOrders for a #Vehicle of the #ExactSameSpecification...

#UponDelivery; it was the only time in #MyExperience, where the #Vehicle was #WorthMore by #DrivingIT off the #Forecourt

Slight mini-#rant.

I have no problem with people posting about #activist causes, #petitions, writing letters to #politicians, or anything like that. It's a healthy part of a #democracy, and encouraging others to take part is a noble thing to do.

#However...

Please don't do it in the form of "Please go to this page and click <option A>" or "Clicking here will take you to a prefilled letter to...".

Go ahead and post your #opinion. But please don't tell others what to #think; let them #decide.

I’ve been exploring #nostr and on a technical level I’m really impressed. They aim to be highly #decentralized and completely #censorship-resistant and the protocol is well thought out and achieves that really well.
#However, wouldn’t want to really try it. The flipside of freedom from censorship is limited protection from abuse. You can block an abusive individual from contacting you on nostr but there’s no way to prevent them abusing others (or inciting others to abuse you). That’s not a good tradeoff for me.

”Effective management by the Bank of Russia has prevented financial instability and has therefore also protected the real economy.

this picture of economic containment is coming to an end.

Russia’s fiscal revenues are now beginning to take a hit.

Still greater sanctions coordination across the globe is needed to isolate the economy, limit the flow of income into Russian coffers and therefore help stop the war.”
