#MiaLove, the first US #Black #Republican congresswoman, has died aged 49 in #Utah, her family has announced.

"She passed away peacefully" on Sunday, surrounded by family at her home in the town of #SaratogaSprings, a statement said.

Love, a daughter of #Haitian #immigrants, had represented the state of Utah in the #HouseOfRepresentatives.

As 1st generation #Haitian American - I resent when peoples say we are against immigrants --- we are in favor of the process where

- you fill out immigration form
- send it US Embassy
- wait for your name be called

That's the process we where custom to --- not this BS by #Biden Admin letting 10-12 millions peoples cross the border
