✨ Hey iOS friends! ✨

Excited to toss Leisurely into the habit/activity tracking ring! 🚀

Yep… another one. But this one’s all about taking it slow, logging your days in natural language, and turning them into meaningful weekly insights and reflections.

Hoping to release it soon but for now, check it out: leisurely.app

www.leisurely.appLeisurely - Track Your Activities, Discover Your PatternsLeisurely helps you track your daily activities and get AI-powered insights to understand your patterns and improve your productivity.

I'm curious to hear what others are #SelfHosting! Here's my current setup:

Hardware & OS

Infrastructure & Networking

Security & Monitoring

Authentication & Identity Management

  • Authelia (Docker): Just set this up for two-factor authentication and single sign-on. Seems to be working well so far!
  • LLDAP (Docker): Lightweight LDAP server for managing authentication. Also seems to be working pretty well!
    #AuthenticationTools #IdentityManagement

Productivity & Personal Tools

Notifications & Development Workflow

  • Notifications via: #Ntfy (Docker) and Zoho's ZeptoMail (#Zoho)
  • Development Environment: Mostly using VSCode connected to my server via Remote-SSH extension. #VSCodeRemote

Accessibility Focus ♿🖥️

Accessibility heavily influences my choices—I use a screen reader full-time (#ScreenReader), so I prioritize services usable without sight (#InclusiveDesign#DigitalAccessibility). Always open to discussing accessibility experiences or recommendations!

I've also experimented with:

  • Ollama (#Ollama): Not enough RAM on my Pi.
  • Habit trackers like Beaver Habit Tracker (#HabitTracking): Accessibility issues made it unusable for me.

I don't really have a media collection, so no Plex or Jellyfin here (#MediaServer)—but I'm always open to suggestions! I've gotten a bit addicted to exploring new self-hosted services! 😄

What's your setup like? Any cool services you'd recommend I try?

This year I'll be aiming to recalibrate. Not just for myself, but for the ones who rely on me the most. There's a lot to do, but I believe I can come through in the end.

And just so I won't forget:

1. I will advance my current research on Indian almond tree leaves and their antibacterial properties, zeroing in on possible molecular mechanisms of action for any observed activity.
2. I'll break free from procrastination and will be streamlining my workflow using analog and digital tools at my disposal.
3. I will prioritize my health, fitting exercise and healthy eating into my schedule, reducing the number of times I eat out and in excess.
4. I will feel free to realize myself fully, giving myself time to explore my hobbies such as website creation. fiction writing, and language learning.

Happy rest of the year to everyone. Things may be hard, but we'll get through this together :blobcathearthug:

I've been using a #HabitTracking #scoreboard spreadsheet in #Excel to get a better sense of what I'm doing and looking for ways to improve my life in general.

Despite how convenient it would be, I've avoided using #GoogleDrive sheets because I'm wary of what they may track about it. I've tried searching for phrases in Drive, and it has returned photographs of hand-written text that I had uploaded years ago, and that thoroughly weirded me out. I'm not being paranoid, am I? ... Am I?

(And yes I'm operating on the assumption that #Office 2021 isn't already doing this to Microsoft).

A bit late in the month to start a habit tracker. But rather late then keep postponing it until the 'right' time.

Talk with a psychologist last Wednesday made me realize I've been falling back into old patterns. The depression is real and something I will need help with. But there things I can do myself, right now. Tracking good habits, like cooking, journalling, moving or spending time on hobbies, will help me to keep doing what I can do.

Hi friends! Happy new year! Today I would like to tell you all about #mubiaozushi - a habit tracker that simulates the journey Wei Wuxian took from Mo Village to Guanyin Temple (and all the places in between) in his second life! I used it last year to great effect to track my writing & physical therapy.
