They keep on encouraging me to be an operator, but as a relatively new General with a new radio, I have yet to even make a single contact on HF, so I'm pretty nervous to suddenly be an event operator. They say it's a great chance to get contacts.

Grosse erreur de conception sur la carte de l’ampli HF : les fils de l’alimentation passaient trop près du connecteur de sortie HF. Donc pleins de parasites, et un signal pas clair en sortie

J’ai déplacé la partie filtrage d’alim sur une carte séparée plus loin, et tout est rentré dans l’ordre

On voit aussi sur la photo le système de mesure de la puissance, dernier ajout en date

I discovered #qucs-s recently. At Qt6 based gui front end for simulating electric circuits with #ngspice. It appears to be a rewrite of qucs but with support for spice-compatible component libraries. Some clever and very useful #FOSS. The wikipedia page for circuit simulators says it does not include #Linux in the list of supported OS, and sure I had to build it with a good ole ./configure but it seems to run on my Ubuntu 24.04 LTS laptop just fine. #hamRadio #AmatuerRadio #NotAllRussians
