Most of what I hear from the climate community about how we're supposed to bring people along is the exact opposite of what #GretaThunberg & the #FridaysForFuture movement did in 2018/19, which was far & away the most successful #climate advocacy the world has ever seen until Covid popped its tires

@hedders I'm so worried about the climate these days, I hardly travel anyway. Certainly not by plane, and as far as possible only if it's cheap / accessible by train or bike. I'd make my family stick to local park rather than drive anywhere. I know not an option for everyone, but loads of people do think this way, mainly Green campaigners, obviously.
