We did it!! Everyone really gave a great showing of their skills. We pushed through the nerves & are proud of ourselves. Husband got punched in the jaw when his spar opponent didn't pull his punch properly - but he ultimately won the match! 
Going to sleep well tonight as the adrenaline & anxiety finally drains out. Whew!
Working to clear my head of the news enough to focus this weekend: our whole family - myself, husband & 3 sons are going for our next round of #karate belt testing tomorrow.
Trying not to show it in front of the kids but I am *nervous*.

Youngest is aiming for orange belt & the other two are aiming for their blue. Husband & I are currently unranked although we have been in class for two years so... it will be nice to see how our sensei ranks us.
But damn if I'm not hella nervous!! 
First time back to #gojuryu since wrecking my knee and getting it fixed in March (and whatever happened to my lungs in May, I'm at ~80% capacity). Wore the brace and got through fine. It's exactly what I needed.
