zeruch<p>While it's ostensibly a half-hour documentary about the rather quirky music video for the "Leave It" single from the band Yes, it's really about the fascinating approach and artsy weirdness of former members of 10cc and at that stage art-pop auteurs and award-winning video directors Godley &amp; Creme. The narration occasionally annoys, but its a pretty interesting bit of obscuram. </p><p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFNXbiNfjtI" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">youtube.com/watch?v=kFNXbiNfjt</span><span class="invisible">I</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/YesBand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>YesBand</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GodleyAndCreme" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GodleyAndCreme</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MusicVideo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MusicVideo</span></a></p>

It peaked at 24 on 21 Apr 1984. Here's an MTV documentary from Apr 1 1984, about the 18 different versions of the video directed by <a href="https://musician.social/tags/GodleyAndCreme" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GodleyAndCreme</span></a>. They were well known for music videos, like their own "Cry", as well as for many other bands, like the recent "Wrapped Around Your Finger" by The Police. The song itself begins at 14:14 in the documentary. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9KJZ2DDL0s" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">youtube.com/watch?v=X9KJZ2DDL0</span><span class="invisible">s</span></a> <a href="https://musician.social/tags/1980s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>1980s</span></a> <a href="https://musician.social/tags/MusicHistory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MusicHistory</span></a> <a href="https://musician.social/tags/MusicVideo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MusicVideo</span></a></p>
