Meteor Shower alert: The Geminids meteor shower peaks during tonight and tomorrow night, 13/14 Dec. A live stream from a receiver detecting reflections from a distant analogue TV transmitter on 61.26 MHz is now on Youtube. I used to do this type of detection 10-20 years ago when analogue TV was common in Europe.

Sadly the locations of TX and RX are not disclosed, but I presume the RX is in one of the southern US states, detcting signals from a Central American TV transmitter.

“ The Geminids - among the few major meteor showers to come from asteroids — peak on Friday. It's one of the year's last chances to see fireballs in the sky.
The shower often produces meteors with a distinctly more yellow glow, likely due to the unusual origin material, said Sally Brummel, planetarium manager at the University of Minnesota's Bell Museum.” apnews.com/article/how-to-watc How to catch the Geminids, one of the strongest meteor showers of the year
