Gigi 🍄‍🟫<p>5/🧵</p><p>Today's multiple shorter protests certainly demonstrated the promise of pop-up protests. They were all organized by different groups, but this definitely could be a thing.</p><p>The two that were either regularly scheduled or publicly announced were the only ones with timely police presence.</p><p>The close proximity of the latter two undoubtedly accounted for the extra cops at the earlier of the two, where normally there are like three cops.</p><p>Somewhat surprised by the paucity of cops at Indigo, but there were likely more staged close by.
