There are a lot of people in the Forza community harping on right now for a statement from Turn 10 on the future of Motorsport, but I'd much rather have one from Playground Games, as to whether we're going to be waiting another 15 months for the "next Forza" to see any new cars?

What is interesting though is they have recently been suddenly posting YouTube shorts on single cars - and the last three have all been Nissans...

(also, may as well ask now if anyone be interested in ever seeing my wishlist for unseen cars for the "next Forza" sometime?)

Continued thread

Even when they did last add cars to the game in April, they still slapped us in the face with one.

Since the game launched without it, and especially to its 16th highest vote total on the forum, we've wanted a return of the RAM TRX.

Maybe it's Stellantis knowing how popular a truck it is and playing hardball, but then they actually give us the Hennessey Mammoth version of the truck instead - and it's the 6x6!

We want the TRX back, and they just taunt us with this one instead.

I'm glad for anything, but come on.

I mentioned before with the De Tomaso Pantera GT5 coming to Forza Motorsport I wondered if they'd done a deal to also get their new P72 supercar in both Forza games. And maybe they did.

Well today I read it's coming to Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown in season 5.

I've no interest in another FOMO racing game, but this is the problem with Playground Games just leaving this game empty, for such a long time, we're missing out on cars other games get instead.

Already the Ferrari F80 is first seen in The Crew Motorfest, now this one goes to another competitor first.

It's been 3 months since anything new, and we've got 15 more to the "next Forza" - and with the cuts at Turn 10, we're probably not getting new cars in Motorsport either.

And it's not like they haven't got money to spend on adding new cars to FH5 after selling millions of copies on PS5.

Even if it's only from the 120+ missing FH4 car list. Just need something to hold on to getting fresh.

So the other day I saw a skit from this dude on YouTube called Doubt(cars) and his pink BMW M2 (G87), and immediately loved the colour.

I tried to replicate it in #ForzaHorizon5 but it's hard to do (for me anyway) without RGB. It's still a bit light imo. Maybe someone has a better idea.

For any player interested, I've also put this purist race tune by 'Ricer9000' on - so keeps it RWD and the engine - and it just sounds incredible in-game. It is really grippy, but you can still do 'BMW things' with it.

Also, don't ask how it got on that cliff edge to the Canyon...

This was posted on the Forza Horizon Reddit a few months ago, and now looking at it just makes me sad.

So many cars (121) from Forza Horizon 4 have just disappeared from the series in FH5, and just seeing them here, I couldn't count how many I'd like back.

Until just the other day I didn't even know the BMW i8 Roadster had appeared - once - in FH4. It's such a cool looking car, and I didn't know it had been in the game until recently. I'd like it back, but along with so many of these.

It just makes me sad to see so many are no longer with us.

And sure, I could just play FH4 more, but after the delisting there are no new co-op events to play, and the time to load in online racing which is at random anyway, just puts me off.

I might be proven wrong in only two days, but I got the thought the Horizon Retrowave will be in the selection - then win - the Series 50 Festival Playlist vote.

It makes sense for the most unique and popular and populated evolving world to mark that number - one that as all the hype and sales is dying down, would give #PS5 players their first chance at experiencing it.

Not only that, but the 10th Anniversary series was in the vote for series 49 - and likely will win that - and you'd think that would be more appropriate for a round number too.

As we wait for news on if there's a future of both Forza titles, one of the odd things not included or ever added back to Forza Horizon 5 is timing intervals during multiplayer racing.

We know they're in the game, as they appear if you do a showcase event in a convoy.
