Die Fullscreen #Werbung beim #fireTVCube nervt mich inzwischen so sehr, dass ich ernsthaft überlege einen #AppleTV zu kaufen.
So häufig wie die #WOW App nicht den Stream lädt, nicht selbst lädt, etc. etc. ist diese ganze App eine regelrechte Frechheit. Und egal ob auf dem #fireTVCube, unter #Android oder unter #iOS .

Die #BRMediathek #App ist, jedenfalls auf dem #fireTVCube , die beste Mediathek App, die es so gibt. #ZDF und #ARD können da nicht mithalten.
Die #AppleTVPlus App auf dem #fireTVCube ist echt grenzwertig. Grundsätzlich funktioniert sie ganz gut. Aber einen Spielstand merkt sie sich gar nicht. Und dann muss man immer wieder dahin spulen, wo man aufgehört hat.

If you say "Alexa, play Nailed It on Netflix", it'll turn on the TV and launch Netflix, but it won't log in to your user, so you still need to select that manually.
Worse, it won't turn on the sound system, but it WILL if you say "turn on the TV". It's been like this since I got it in 2017.
Der #StadiaController funktioniert, sobald #Bluetooth aktiviert ist, übrigens wirklich ganz hervorragend an einem #fireTVCube . Reicht mir als kleine Spielekonsole ja absolut aus.
I'm trying to get synchronous sound and proper frame rates on the #ChromecastWithGoogleTV and #fireTVCube every couple of month and at my latest try last December I got it to work in 1080p with #DolbyVision, but on each device at least one app did not have synchronous sound.
Today I plugged the chromecast directly into the TV and used optical ouput to get the sound into the AV receiver and suddenly all is good with 4K in DolbyVision
