That time Aerosmith cancelled a show, and we found out their opener, Slash w/Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, were putting on a show anyway. We ended up at The Fillmore within a couple hours of the cancellation.

Slash tossed a guitar pick toward me but it was just shy of the balcony and I couldn’t reach out far enough to catch it. He looked at me, raised his hands in the air & gave me a shrug and a smile.

Best “Oops” I’ve ever received.
