#Posteo add app passwords. Now it is possible to set #Thunderbird, #FairMail or any other nice desktop/mobile email client with an app password, and at the same time keep your password protected with two factor authentication to get into the webmail and the configuration of the account.

It was the only thing i was missing. I am quite happy at having opened a Posteo mail account. I am a bit stressed these days, but at some point I will describe it a bit more.

@9Lukas5 Vielleicht soll die Plaintext-Version absichtlich unübersichtlich bzw. unmöglich zu lesen sein ... in den HTML-Versionen sind ja oft 1-Pixel-Grafiken (unsichtbar) zum Tracken eingebaut. Das würde nicht funzen, wenn der Kunde nur Plaintextmails liest.

Allerdings funzt es bei mir auch mit HTML nicht, da sowohl Thunderbird als auch auf dem Handy die sehr gute App #FairMail die Grafiken per default ausblendet.
