Here are some #TreesInExmoor which I photographed on my #DulvertonToTarrSteps #hike at the weekend. I selected them basically on their aesthetic profiles and so the selection is necessarily subjective. They’re presented with little to no commentary.
Yesterday, we went on a #walking trip in #Exmoor, which is in #Somerset, despite the name. I had been planning a round #walk from #Dulverton to the #TarrSteps since last summer and this #BankHoliday weekend is a good time to have it as the weather is better, though not too hot, the days are longer, and there's a spare day for recovery. My wife used a #pedometer app to record the journey and it clocked in at 24.2 km and she recorded nearly 36,000 steps in eight hours, including breaks.
@Rachelburch can't think what we have on #exmoor to worry folk. Wut? Oh, right
@kibcol1049 Clearly you've never driven over #exmoor
sur la route retour : le parc national Exmoor (avec le super "valleys of rocks"), Stonehenge (décevant, trop de touristes), et Porstmouth.
It’s not quite over yet….

The Valley of Rocks, a dramatic ‘U’ shaped valley on the northern fringe of #Exmoor is popular for a quick car visit to the rocks but this circular walk adds a ridge, a spectacular gorge and the pretty town of Lynton. Details at tinyurl.com/2ft6savh

I rarely do #landscape photography. I can't go out with the aim of taking pictures, I have to spot things that appeal to something in me - like this wonderful corner of the #Devon coast: The Valley of Rocks.
