The new trams, designed to replace aging <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Eurotrams" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Eurotrams</span></a>, feature 100% low-floor access, improved passenger comfort, and enhanced safety measures, including acoustic signals for visually and hearing-impaired passengers. They are energy-efficient, reducing consumption by 25% compared to current models, and are 95% recyclable. Manufactured across ten Alstom sites in <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/France" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>France</span></a>, these trams benefit from extensive global experience, having transported over 10 billion passengers since 2000. Frédéric Wiscart, President of Alstom France, expressed gratitude for the continued trust from the Eurométropole de Strasbourg and CTS in delivering sustainable mobility solutions.<br><a href="https://www.alstom.com/press-releases-news/2025/3/alstom-supply-strasbourg-27-additional-trams" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">alstom.com/press-releases-news</span><span class="invisible">/2025/3/alstom-supply-strasbourg-27-additional-trams</span></a></p>
