A phenomenon that was discovered surprised the researchers and clearly differs from studies of other vehicle types: in 20% of safety-critical events, the rider deliberately created a risk situation, or collision while driving.

It's getting ridiculous. How many years have e-scooters existed now? How long have they been running trials? 5+ years minimum.

Why do we still not have legislation covering them? They're no different to electric bicycles, so why are they being treated so differently?
