Dunblane Cathedral, built from around 1150 with an originally free-standing tower. After being open to the elements for three centuries after the Reformation the nave was re-roofed in 1889-93. More pics and info: https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/dunblane/cathedral/index.html

Had a fantastic walk near Dunblane today. The forecast predicted some showers but we got lucky!

Last days near the #Cromlix house hotel. Beautiful grounds to soak up the autumn leaves (& take a break from the chaos for a bit).
I spent one morning inside having a coffee at the bar (see previous post) and the rest a short walk away looking after two lovely Bassets.
After two weeks of staying just a five minute walk away, finally took myself for a coffee at Cromlix House hotel today. Such a sensory treat. Art all around the house, a nice mix of traditional & contemporary that helps feeling both grounded & alive.
This calls for a rare selfie with nice wallpaper in the background.

A wee day trip out to #Dunblane yesterday, taking advantage of the glorious spring sunshine. #DunblaneCathedral
@CatherineRussell2 so scary. Whenever I read or hear about shootings in schools it breaks my heart. I worry about going to work, sending my kids to school and also #Dunblane which I will never forget hearing about when it happened. Shootings in America is crazy and seems to be never ending. When will it stop?
@danwentzel could be slightly misleading as there probably weren't that many school shootings prior to #dunblane (if any ).
