That last one was a bit of a slog, and had /serious/ GameMasterAnthony's birthday party thread vibes, but still fun enough. Def a bit of a “ok well either he gets back on track after this, or it's really just off the rails” pivot point tho.</p><p>Next is back to <a href="https://social.coop/tags/Discworld" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Discworld</span></a> with Reaper Man, I enjoy a good Death-focused romp which I assume this will also be.</p><p>After that I reckon it'll be back to scifi for a while, this will be the 4th fantasy(ish) book in a row.</p>

Butcher is /obsessed/ with parricide. Nearly every single frigging book involves extreme family on family ultraviolence.</p><p>Sure it’s usually of the “evil always backstabs itself” variety, but like, sheesh.</p>

Cynni PixyI loved the Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher. So I was excited when they made a TV series based on it. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same, and it never really hit off. Dakota's Art 👻I made Bob The Skull from the <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/dresdenfiles?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#dresdenfiles</a> for my step dads christmas gift this year. A few mistakes learned from but ultimately I think it turned out pretty cool! 3d printed the skull, base coated in skull white, painted on the details, did a soft tone wasg to add some "aging", then a varnish coat. my mistake was using a gel pen to sketch on the designs.
