Finished up printing the display stands for my Disney Infinity figures. Looks way cooler on my shelf than just having them sitting there. The banding is worse in the photo than in real life because of the lighting / angle. Not bad for my little project printer. #3DPrinting #DisneyInfinity #Gaming

"But wait!", you say, "That's not all of the #StarWars #DisneyInfinity characters."
Indeed. For the display of the #Jedi (and #Sith) characters with #lightsabers that light up (#LightFX), I have something special.
The lightsabers only work when they are activated by the stand, but it turns out that a stand from #Skylanders will work (if it's plugged in to something it can talk to--just #USB power isn't enough).
So, these stands are all connected to my TV, through a USB hub.

Okay, more about #DisneyInfinity:
I started collecting these when they were going out of style, but #ToysRUs still had too many in stock, so they were literally $1 or even less in a bin.
As a result, I got a full set of the 3.0 #StarWars figures, as well as a bunch of the #Marvel characters. They were so cheap I gave them away in the prize bags at my daughter's (Star Wars themed) birthday party.

I found the #Anna and #Elsa #DisneyInfinity characters at a #ValueVillage #thriftstore the other day. They had a few others, but they were characters I already had, and my 6 year old *really* wanted me to get them (she occasionally still plays the game on our #WiiU). This is my miscellaneous shelf for DI.

I loved the #DisneyInfinity figs from years ago. When I can get extras I’ve started repainting them. I took a Incredibles’ Violet that had lost her head and made a Sue Storm. I repainted Rocket just to put him in the Ravager red. I still struggle with eyes. I will use these in #MarvelCrisisProtocol

Final shot of the bottom of my figures display cabinet. This one has the #Starlink #BattleForAtlas figures, and the #Marvel and remaining #StarWars #DisneyInfinity figures (and a few of my own #clay creations).
#dreamlightvalley is what #disneyinfinity should have been and I sure wish I could use all those #disneyinfinity figures with it.
