Watching tennis, it seems American owned TNT / Discovery+ feel all sports require a commentator or pundit who never stops talking.
So Darren Fletcher, Ali McCoist and Ferdinand made us turn the volume down for the football and it's Jim Courier or McEnroe on the tennis.

So irritating!

I recently cancelled my Discovery+ subscription after they increased their monthly subscription fee from £6.99 to £30.99 (yes, you read that right).

They have sent me an email me asking me to fill in a survey to let them know why I cancelled.

But the link to the survey didn't work.

Oh no! How are they ever going to figure out why people are cancelling their subscriptions now! I guess it will forever have to remain a mystery to them.

So annoyed with Discovery+… So I use to pay £39.99 a year for Eurosport, and then they joined Discovery+ and it changed to £6.99 a month (110% increase), and now they want to join TNT sports and Eurosport. To continue they insist I move to their premium £30.99 plan a month!!! 830% increase over my original Eurosport plan! What a joke

OK, I may not be the most price-sensitive consumer, but if Discovery Plus want to increase my subscription from £6.99/month to £30.99/month, then sorry, that's completely taking the piss.

Subscription cancelled.

So, anyone know if there is a way to watch cycling races (Tour de France etc) on the telly in the UK that doesn't cost silly money?

Think I'll see what happens at 4pm with the street final gold medal event and how easily I can get that on the BBC and then consider one month of Discovery+ for £4 _just_ to get some reliable coverage.

Which is a shame. Because the Beeb is categorically the best broadcaster bar none. Quality shows. No adverts. Generally not arsehole presenters. Intelligent documentaries and comedy. The lot.

Anyone in the UK (or maybe Europe) got #DiscoveryPlus? Does it let you do catch-up?

The main listings are all "Live now" and "Upcoming". But the pages for the individual sports _might_ have catchup. I just checked shooting and I *think* that's the event from earlier today.

Just trying to work out if it's worth £4 to get more coverage of interesting events (and then cancel), since #BBC coverage is hamstrung. But I won't be watching live.

Just tried the #DiscoveryPlus app on my #Roku to see if I could get the #FormulaE London E-Prix and… maybe? But wow, that's a bad app!

Very slow first load. Missing letters all over the screen. Focusing on some widgets made them bigger and butchered the font scaling. Some bits won't load. TV schedule said all channels had no more programmes today.

Looks like Free Practice is paid-for, but you can watch #Quest live for free. Gave up before finding out if it'll do catch-up for free!
