Needed a mental reset via a day trip to Grado, Italy! Swapping the keyboard for sand between the toes works wonders.
Listened to the waves, felt the sun, just breathed. An espresso on the beach helped clear the head. Great for fresh perspective – maybe some coding inspiration will follow.
How do you disconnect and find your reset away from the screen? Always looking for ideas!

Cumbres Toltec Scenic Railroad season starts at the end of May. Spring is beautiful. Often the mountains still have snow on the peaks, particularly in Colorado. It's like the wildlife moves in when the train quits running in October and they seem surprised when people start passing through again in May.
Finished up a nice, internet-detatched drive out in to the sorta country today.
First one we took in over a month. Nice getting out to look at the pastures & fields. Managed to stay away from the tulip mania up north. Traffic was a bit nuts.
Didn't get to see "my ladies" (a local cow herd I insist on visiting). The farmer was spraying liquid fertilizer & gassed out the area! #ToxicAirborneEvent
Been missing our visits to some of the local farmers, bakers, & cheese-mongers. Soon.

Lots of open space and lonely roads (with minimal cell phone reception). It is easy to "unplug" in #NewMexico. #daytrip #roadtrip #travel
I was Saturday on a day trip to #Udine. Enjoyed the beautiful warm weather with a nice stroll through the alleys and taking in the view from the Castello.
From the top of Sierra Blanca, you can see the dark lava field flow down the Tularosa Basin, ending right before White Sands begins. Black and white. #NewMexico #geology #daytrip #travel #roadtrip
The Lybrook Badlands are one of the largest of over a dozen badlands in the San Juan Basin, with large, impressive hoodoos, accessed via NM-550. This was Georgia O'Keeffe's "Black Place."

My late #PhotOfTheDay is this snapshot from Eastern Bakery in San Francisco's China Town. I've been a customer there for about 45 years now, but they've clearly had more famous ones.... Good pork buns and almond cookies.
#PhotoOfTheDay is of the cowboy statue outside the small Cowboy Museum in Oakdale, California.
Oakdale is the self-proclaimed "cowboy capital of the world" which I imagine would be a per-capita thing, as the town's entire population is only 23,000.
