We loved it on our test drive but were concerned about its low reliability rating with .

As best we could tell, it's still apparently having ICCU and 12 volt failures, occasionally with long waits for parts, despite several recalls in the past few years.

Would have loved to get one but we went with a more reliable for the next 3 years.

We didn't look at because we're not fascists.😉

FYI: Keep in mind that this page DOES have GoogleManager as one of their trackers. If you use #PrivacyBadger, and /or #StartPage whatever it is (it's an add-on for #Firefox) I would assume the option to block trackers would solve that problem.

Getting real tired of outfits not abiding by unsubscribe requests. I keep track and - given the hiatus before I start getting them again - I think you are just putting me in some pending bin and then purposely ignoring my earlier request in hopes you try to start selling to me again. No, I'm thinking you are jerks who I should no longer trust. I see you #Oracle and #ConsumerReports

I have a Level 2 charger my #ID4Pro #EV at home. I also have a #ChargePoint #EVGo & an #ElectrifyAmerica account.

However, I believe in #BeingPreprared. So, I bought a #J1772 to #NACS #Tesla adapter but I'd only use a Tesla #Supercharger (or destination charger) as a last resort (because I have issues with #Musk ) & haven't even downloaded the Tesla charging app yet, so I can't even use a Tesla charger yet but . . .

Here's an interesting article to those who are interested in #EVs published by #ConsumerReports about their experience charging certain non-Tesla EVs at #Tesla #Superchargers with a J1772 to NACS (Tesla) adapter or with Tesla's #MagicDock . . .

Consumer Reports · How Well Do Tesla Superchargers Work for Non-Tesla EVs?By Jeff S. Bartlett

I found an AI usecase that I think I like. Consumer Reports has fed all of their content into an LLM and the resulting chat-bot is actually quite helpful.

So far the only real value I'm seeing in AI/LLM is summaries of stuff, and pointing me to further resources. Again, AI can't be trusted because trust is earned. So giving me a preview and options for further reading is A+ in my book.

#FTC urged to stop #tech makers downgrading devices after you've bought them
Digital rights activists (#ConsumerReports, #EFF, #SoftwareFreedomConservancy, #iFixit, and U.S. Pirg) want device manufacturers to disclose "guaranteed minimum support time" for devices — and regulations ensuring product's core functionality will work even after its software updates stop. Some brick devices they'd rather not support, kill apps that drive functions, or add post-sale subscriptions
