One of the funny things about the #EGM #digital #archive is looking at how many covers #MortalKombat got. They completely dominated that magazine's front page in the 90's. Issue 70's doesn't even run the names of the #consoles the #magazine covers, it just runs *more* #MK3 #screenshots lol.

Remember guys, there was a time where Nintendo sold a console above the market was willing to accept.

The launch bombed so hard that less than five months later, in August 2011, they slashed the price almost HALF and the CEO, the greatest #SatoruIwata, took a pay cut of 50%.

That was the Nintendo 3DS, the 12th best selling console of all time at 76 Million units.

Nintendo Switch 2 on Chile: $599.990

Don’t know which version, but seems to be the normal one.

That would mean the bundled (with Mario Kart) would cost $649.990, and slash those prices by $50.000 at the end of the year if demand is below expectations.

Seems logical to me, since there are shipping costs and margins to take, and uncertainty about USA economy.
