Ricardo Harvin<p>The best part of <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/CruelSummer" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CruelSummer</span></a>, season 1, is the range of <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/ChiaraAurelia" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ChiaraAurelia</span></a> as <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/JeanetteTurner" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>JeanetteTurner</span></a>. <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/OliviaHolt" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>OliviaHolt</span></a> as <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/KateWallis" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>KateWallis</span></a> is also very good.</p><p>What <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Chiara" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Chiara</span></a> did was next level, imo.</p><p>From geeky, awkward, innocent, and desperate-to-be-liked, to dark, brooding presence, her performance elevated this twisted <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SoapOpera" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SoapOpera</span></a>.</p><p>And the ending is just right.</p><p>It starts slow and grating (immature teen drama) but the final few episodes pay off.</p><p>It's a good show, overall, just don't expect a lot.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Hulu" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Hulu</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Freeform" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Freeform</span></a></p>
