Despite the <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SciFi" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SciFi</span></a> label, this is intrinsically about affinities and characters growing together. There is a surprise twist, so I am being careful about my comments. This is a quick, well-paced read with gorgeous <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/artwork" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>artwork</span></a>. I ordered my copy back in February from and prior to the demise of <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/BookDepository" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BookDepository</span></a> (taken over & subsumed by *m*z*n).</p>
