I was talking about the US data that I work with and I wonder when people are going to destroy the US #census. It's been a right-wing goal to make it into a head count of citizens with stable housing (and nothing else) for a long time.

But there's another force for destruction and that's in the form of the assurances that Census data are not supposed to be used against you personally. Don't think that will last.

In 2000, #US #trade totaled $2.0T — more than 4 times China’s $474B.

By 2024, total trade reached $5.3T for the U.S. and $6.2T for #China.
