First appearance of Cardassisns in StarTrek. Well hello, Gul Macet! Your suit and helmet look ridiculous. And you look an awful lot like Gul Dukat. Good thing you’ve got some facial hair to help distinguish between you two. Both were played by Marc Alaimo.

1/2500 scale #Cardassian Galor class warship done! This model is part of the Deep Space Nine rerelease. You can either build the Galor or Keldon classes. Also pictured alongside an unpainted 1/2500 Galaxy class. There’s an upcoming 8 model adversary set coming this year which includes the Keldon too, so I’ll be getting that to build it. #StarTrek #Cardassian #GalorClass #Warship #2500Scale #Scalemodels #ModelBuilder #MKMModelwerx

This episode is interesting because it almost goes so far as to say can't be trusted because she is , and not because she is a spy in the Maquis and actively trading technology with the Kazon.

We just got done with where broke orders to trade for tech to get them home.

It's too bad about her story arc, it woulda been far more interesting to have someone with 's ruthless sensibility on the crew.

I just finished A Stitch in Time by Andrew J Robinson, the actor who played Garak in #DeepSpace9. It fills in some of Garak’s backstory and expands a bit on post Dominion war Cardassia. The audiobook was read by the author, in character. It respected canon, was brilliantly written and read, far exceeding any expectations I had. My only complaint is that it’s a single work.

If you are a #StarTrek #DS9 fan, it’s a great read. I envy anyone who hasn’t read it. Because they are in for a treat. Not an ad. Just a fan.

As the holidays are right around the corner, I'll be posting my wishlist of items that caught my eye yet again this year.

First up, if you happen to love Star Trek, booze, and have $60 to spend (plus shipping & handling I presume), look no further. You can buy your very own bottle of Kanar.

Note: Santa looks like he still only ships Kanar to the USA.
