NegativePrimes
I tried to install Calligra on my new Arch/KDE system yesterday and it just crashed. Then I saw a new version was out, so I waited for the Arch repo to catch up and tried installing version 4.0.

I'm not impressed so far. I use dark mode on my system, which seems to not play nicely with C's applications. On Words, the background is still blindingly white, while the black text is rendered as black...except in tables, where it also turns white and disappears. (Changing the text color to something not black made the text visible.) In Sheets, the background rendered as black...as did the text, which meant nothing was visible.

It's also lacking in compatibility with MS Office, which is unfortunately necessary if any office suite is going to be widely adopted.

#Linux #Calligra #CalligraSuite
