It would be very interesting to also have on Fediverse (I refer to Mastodon, Pixelfed, Bluesky and Flipboard, for example) information for a photo posted about the "#Credentials", as for example happens on Linkedin, where a reader can click on a "CR" icon at the top left and get info if the user has set the credentials through Lightroom or Photoshop and Adobe (for example see here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:share:7235616090943324161/?actorCompanyId=102288189 "bab al taqwâ" image and look and click the CR icon above).

I know it's not easy to implement, but we should think about it.

The visitor of a post needs to know if a photo has been treated with AI but also if it has credentials of this type (and also for a "#byline" of the author).

How is it going with the implementation in Mastodon instances of the option for the "byline" dedicated to journalists?

I had asked to participate in my accounts for my newspapers to try the service, but so far I have not received an answer...

In my opinion it is an interesting function, also to protect readers, and I hope it will be offered on a large scale, and soon.

Noticed that the new author byline on posts from @verge all point to inactive Mastodon accounts.

Looks like most of their team is only active on Threads these days, but many have activated fediverse sharing.

And it's not just The Verge. There's a lot of byline linking to inactive accounts from other news sources too.
